The Graduate Program in Knowledge Engineering and Management developed its strategic plan containing objectives to be accomplished until 2021.
This strategic plan was conducted collaboratively, applying knowledge management methods, techniques, and tools. It represents a significant step in the process of implementing a new participative management model which will guide PPGEGC actions for the next years.
Because of the interdisciplinary characteristics of PPGEGC, multiple opportunities are used to stimulate discussions and knowledge learning among participants. Strategic planning is one of these opportunities which integrates professors, students, staff, graduates and guests, allowing the conversation of different world views to create paths of common development.
To promote teaching, research, and outreach, in an interdisciplinary way, considering knowledge as a value-adding element to society.
To become a national and international reference in Knowledge Engineering and Management.
